We are excited to announce our new location, a refreshed look, and a rebrand of our law firm!

We are now located at 2502 Powell Avenue, Suite 6, Erie, Pennsylvania 16506.

And we are rebranding as Jorden Law Group to reflect our expanded services that we will provide.

Jorden Law Group, PLLC will house two legal divisions: Erie Trial Law, our litigation oriented team, and a soon to be launched Asset Protection service.

The Erie Trial Law division will continue to emphasize professional license defense, contract disputes, personal injury litigation, and criminal defense. We will continue to navigate our clients' legal claims, so they can focus on recovering, healing, and reclaiming their lives.

Asset Protection will be our new line of services. Our experience as trial attorneys has revealed how one poor decision can be financially devastating, particularly when personal assets are pursued to satisfy a judgment by the court. There are many situations when liability insurance coverages are not available to satisfy a claim against you or your business, thereby exposing your personal assets to judgment ex*****on. We want to use our experience and knowledge to create asset protection strategies for our clients to ensure their wealth is protected from potential lawsuits. Protecting your assets means that you preserve them for both your personal use and for the use of your family in later generations. Welcome to Erie Trial Law!

We help people who are abruptly faced with an unanticipated life-altering event and now need help navigating the tumultuous waters of our various legal systems to reclaim their lives and livelihoods.

For decades our attorneys have helped individuals who have been severely injured as a result of vehicle accidents, workplace accidents, and defective products. We have seen that the wreckage of an accident is not limited to the scene of the incident. The life of the victim is in a state of upheaval: careers are disrupted, family resources are strained and the crushing weight of uncertainty of the future sets in. We have been fortunate to have been trusted by hundreds of clients to guide them through the litigation process to see that they obtain the money they deserve so they can focus on recovering from their injuries and return to the life they had been working toward.

Our work over the years has also allowed us to have a window into the community we serve. We have seen men and women suffering through injuries who honorably refuse to take time from work, and continue to care for their children or sick relatives. These people often put their own care on the back burner for various reasons. Medical professionals might feel a duty to not be absent from their patients' care for too long. Others may fear if they take leave from work to allow themselves to heal, they won't have the money to pay their bills, buy food, or pay for needed medicine. Overall, they fear if they don't sacrifice themselves in this way, no one else will be able to care, support, and protect those who rely on them. Too often, these individuals become dependent on pain medication, believing that such medication is allowing them to remain productive workers and stable providers for their families.

Our reality is that addiction or substance use disorder (SUD) is more prevalent today than it has ever been in history. In many cases, SUD begins with individuals doing whatever they can to maintain their career and provide for their families - taking prescribed medication to treat their ailment just to get through the day. Unfortunately, the SUD takes control and the consequences of abusing the medications are disregarded, leading to job loss, revocation of professional/occupational licenses, and criminal charges.

Our country has been in the throes of an opioid epidemic for years, and Erie, Pennsylvania has not been immune to the problem. Moreover, SUD does not discriminate or reserve itself to any single demographic.

At Erie Trial Law, we believe in the inherent value and power of every person. We recognize that there is a life story behind each of our clients, whether they come to us as a victim of an accident, or an accused of a crime. Our mission is to accompany our clients, however they come to us, through their legal turmoil to help them reclaim their lives and secure a bright future.
