On September 27, 1777, the Continental Congress met in Lancaster's original courthouse. Our current Lancaster County Courthouse was built between 1852 and 1855. Designed by architect Samuel Sloan, this Romanesque Revival landmark has served our community for over 170 years. As local attorneys, walking these historic halls reminds us of our deep roots and our enduring commitment to seeking justice for our clients.
