Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Jonah Mallow, the newest member of the Penwell Law team!

Before joining Penwell Law, Jonah worked as a Mergers and Acquisitions Tax Associate at PwC, helping clients navigate complex tax exposures. He earned his J.D. from Penn State Dickinson Law, where he served as Executive Book Review Editor for the Dickinson Law Review, and graduated cm laude from Penn State’s Smeal College of Business with a B.S. in Accounting. He also served honorably in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard from 2017 to 2023. Outside of work, Jonah enjoys golfing, weightlifting, weather tracking, and spending time with his wife and their two dogs.

Penwell Law is pleased to celebrate the Young Women in Law Class of 2025! Penwell Law hosted this year’s Young Women in Law program at the renowned West Shore Country Club on Thursday, April 10, 2025. It was an eventful day filled with meaningful activities, conversations, inspiring young participants, insightful guest speakers—and, of course, great food.

We are proud to support and encourage the next generation of women in law. We look forward to sharing additional program details in the coming days, including program highlights, scholarship recipients, and the impressive panelists and guest speakers who helped make the day so impactful.

Today, we are wrapping up our photo series with the final group of this year’s Young Women in Law participants! Penwell Law welcomes Narden (Central Dauphin High School), Riley (Central Dauphin High School), Sophia (Central Dauphin High School), Sophie (Kent Academy), Soumaya (Harrisburg Academy), Victoria (Central Dauphin High School), Virginia (Lower Dauphin High School), Vivienne (Harrisburg Academy) and Willow (Harrisburg Academy). These bright and ambitious young women are ready to step into the program with curiosity and drive, and we can’t wait to see all they will accomplish. (Temple University), Lily Z. (Lower Dauphin High School), Maura (Central Dauphin High School), Mia (Central Dauphin High School) and Nadia (Mechanicsburg High School). Exciting News! The 2025 Young Women in Law Program is OVERSUBSCRIBED!
The Penwell Law team has added 10 additional seats to its Young Women In Law program!

This year, the Penwell Law team received double the expected applications to its YWIL program. Penwell Law began with 20 open program seats and expanded to 30 program seats in light of the overflow of exceptional applications. The admitted applicants represent the following schools: Bishop McDevitt, Carlisle, Central Dauphin, Danville, East Pennsboro, Harrisburg Academy, Kent Academy, Lower Dauphin, Mechanicsburg, Steelton-Highspire, and Susquenita.

We look forward to welcoming this inspiring group of future leaders! Stay tuned for more updates as we gear up for an incredible program.
