Good morning FB Friends & Family. As you are aware, we specialize in handling Personal Injury cases, such as Automobile, Motorcycle, Dog Bites, etc.
Our fees are contingent upon settlement / recovery from the responsible party's insurance carrier. However, in order for our office to obtain a successful recovery on behalf of our clients, it is important that they too have the appropriate insurance coverage required to meet the State's Financial Responsibility Laws.
All LICENSED drivers and Vehicle Owners, in California, must carry valid Liability Insurance coverage. Without this coverage, the driver / owner may only be entitled to a limited settlement (ie: reasonable medical expenses (NO pain & suffering damages); no rental or loss of use reimbursement etc.) .
Also, for those of you who utilize your personal vehicle(s) for Ride Share purposes (ie Uber, Lyft, etc.) you must immediately notify your insurance carrier that your vehicle(s) is used for Ride Sharing purposes, otherwise you would face denial of your claim, which could result in adverse consequences, including the suspension of your license.
You should contact your insurance agent or carrier for further details and information related to your policy and coverage(s) available to you.
Also, remember our office provides complimentary telephone consultations regarding potential claims.
