Balance of Energy or "Chi" in your surroundings affects your psychological well being.
According to ancient China, to use the energy around us, forces us to harmonize with our surrounding environment. The term "Feng Shui" literally translates as "Wind-Water" in English.
Here are some ideas that I use at the very beginning of working with a new client, to help clear their space.
1. Clear clutter. Keep only the items you love or need.
2. Open doors and windows to revitalize your space and allow fresh air to circulate for at least 1 hour. The energy will shift immediately.
Ideas: This is the 1st thing I do in the morning, then I either light incense, start my essential oil diffuser which is a natural aromatherapy or light a candle.
Weekly Ritual: I use Sandalwood incense, which purifies your home, makes the energy warmer, softer and more nurturing.
3. Add "chi-stimulators" to your space.This could be healthy plants, fresh flowers, water fountains, prisms, wind chimes, candles and pets.
