For those of you who plan on taking old electronics to REACT in Big Flats (next to Hilton Garden Inn) for free recycling, you need to wait until after Jan 1, 2016. As of the end of October NY State has filled is allotment of items to recycle and until the first of the year you will be charged $3.00 for each item you wish to dispose of other than TV's. TV are $.60//pound.

Today I am joined by Chefs Jim Chrabaszcz and John Stanley preparing dinners for 54 at North Presbyterian Church of Elmira as part of a fund raiser for the Food Pantry that the church has. These are pictures of some of the items that are being raffled off. Doors open at 5PM if anyone wants to stop buy and buy raffle tickets. You do not need to be present to win. However, dinners are by reservation only, so we won't be able to feed you.
