The criminal justice system can be a long and slow process. For those accused of crimes, every day of waiting is time spent living with stress and uncertainty. But Renna Law Office is thorough and refuses to allow the rights of our clients to be ignored.

After several motions and extensive hearings, our client's 2024 indictment charging him with violent felonies, including Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, was dismissed after the judge found that the People violated his speedy trial rights.

The right to speedy trial is not a mere technicality. It is a fundamental constitutional protection all citizens are entitled to.

Our office was excited to see this matter dismissed! Another case resolved. Another client's constitutional rights protected.

Another great review!! It's great to see when a client appreciates the hard work and dedication that is put into their case.

After negotiating with the District Attorney's Office and highlighting legal issues in the crininal matter, we were able to get our client's felony charge dismissed to non-criminal violations.
