This is why we do the work. When something goes terribly wrong, families deserve more than questions. They deserve someone willing to keep asking until they get answers.
We’re continuing to push for transparency about what happened after a 99-year-old Milwaukee woman called 911 for help — and why it took nearly three hours for police to respond.
For her family, this is about accountability. It’s also about doing everything possible to make sure another family never has to experience what they have.
Sometimes the work is about more than one case. It’s about asking the questions that need to be asked — and pushing for answers that could help protect someone else.
