The most important lessons owning a business can teach you are to trust more in yourself, listen to your intuition, and lean into your beliefs.

So even though there is a tingle of fear, I have opened a second office in Sparta. I am telling myself it’s not a mistake to take a chance and choose the thing that feels right but doesn’t come with any promises or guarantees. I’m very happy to say that the office is managed full time by a familiar and trustworthy face, Shawn Poole.

Everyone involved in real estate (buyers, sellers, lenders, attorneys, realtors, contractors, service/labor/material providers) knows it’s been a special time to be a part of this trade. It’s so cool what the power of love, people, and connection can achieve. I have been a witness to it and been fortunate to have it fuel my career thus far.

It has so far been an absolutely insane ride, one that has exceeded my little country girl expectations. The wins, the losses, the shortcomings, the mistakes, joy, and even the heartbreak. I am grateful for every part of it.

Update for clients/realtors booking closings with us!!

The North Carolina State Bar has approved my application to sit for the specialty certification exam in residential real estate. From September 18 through October 16, we will be on a limited schedule booking only 4 CLOSINGS PER WEEK during that time frame so that I can take the time I need to study and get my mind ready for this exam, while also still giving adequate attention to abstract your titles.

I still expect y’all to please call me with any extenuating circumstances 🤪🤪 thanks for understanding and I look forward to resuming a normal fall schedule afterwards 💛💛

We have completed 290 closings and have 5 more to wrap up for 2022!! That’s amazing for our little shop!

Happy Labor Day!!

I am blessed to say I have definitely spent the last few days laboring and getting titles ready for while I’m out of office. I am leaving tomorrow to go to Portugal 🇵🇹 🇵🇹. My ladies Katrina and Mandy will still be there to assist everyone with their administrative closing needs! As always, I am never far away from my phone or email and will respond as soon as possible. Also this month we wrapped up taking some longtime clients from petition to partition to settlement to closing! Meet the new addition to my team, Katrina Hoffman!! Katrina has made Alleghany County her home. She is a graduate from Alleghany High School and has worked as a veterinarian assistant at a local vet’s office. Katrina is now joining us in the foothills to focus on real estate and building relationships with the local residents, agents and lenders.

Katrina loves spending time with her animals and family in her spare time. She is so creative and loves to paint, draw and tend to her plants. Come meet Katrina Hoffman !
