When we started, the idea was simple: the injury victim should receive as much of their settlement as possible. Over time, that idea has grown into a national lien resolution practice trusted by plaintiff trial attorneys across the country.

Over the past seven years, we’ve had the opportunity to work with outstanding attorneys to resolve ERISA, Medicare, FEHBA, and other healthcare reimbursement claims. It’s work that helps cases move forward, protects compliance, and ultimately allows injury victims to keep more of their recovery.

Properly obtaining documents from an ERISA Plan is key to obtaining a reduction of their subrogation/reimbursement claim. In this month's Journal of the Virginia Trial Lawyers, The Place Firm published an easy to implement process which will allow the trial attorney to obtain the needed documents, while leveraging the statutory obligations imposed on the ERISA plan to encourage a reduction, and a resolution.
