World Su***de Prevention Day is observed annually on September 10.

The Southeastern Illinois Su***de Prevention Task Force put together this presentation on ways to start the conversation, questions you can ask and some myths and facts on su***de prevention. Take a few minutes, you may learn something💚

Su***de is the 10th leading cause of death in the US. It's also the 2nd leading cause of death among youth and young adults ages 15-34 and in 2024, there were 48,824 su***de-related deaths in America.

Su***de can affect every one of us. By raising awareness, reducing the stigma & encouraging action we can help to reduce the instances of su***de around the world and within our community.

Please share this, you never know who you may help🧠💚
