Back in May 2025, Maxey joined her fellow Sisters of the 8 in Jupiter, Florida, for the Mother Truckers Rally, where the experience went far beyond the courtroom.

Swimming with sharks might sound terrifying, but sometimes overcoming fear is about stepping into the water anyway. 💪

The experience was a perfect reminder of the message behind Maxey’s talk, “Sharks in the Water: Overcoming Adversaries with Strength and Strategy.” Whether the sharks are literal or metaphorical, facing adversity takes courage, strength, and a strategy.
