SIXTH year in a row to be named top attorney in adoption law!! Each year it just brings a new thankfulness and a new honor. The last year has been one to remember! My practice is split between representing birth mothers (and sometime birth fathers) and representing adoptive families (never both at the same time). I look back and think of all the sweet birth mothers I worked with, and I pray they know how loved and special they are to me and others. I love that some still reach out even after the adoption to check in and update me. The adoptive families that allowed me to be part of their adoption story will never be forgotten, and I feel so blessed they trusted me in the process. I enjoy so much getting updates and pictures from my adoptive families - the smiles have such a beautiful story behind them. I am truly changed by my birth mothers and my adoptive families - no matter which side I am working with - I learn so much from each experience. I never imagined that I would travel all over the state helping birth moms and adoptive families and practice in Tribal Courts and so many Oklahoma District Courts. I truly feel so blessed. I can't wait to see what this coming year brings and how God will move in some of my highly contested cases!
