ICE is now stationed at 14 U.S. airports. Whether you’re undocumented, on a visa, a green card holder, or even a U.S. citizen, here is what you should know.

ICE has been deployed to airports since yesterday, March 23. This is not about TSA staffing. Share this.
Do NOT go to the airport — not to fly, not to drop off — if you are:
— Undocumented
— Have a removal order (even an old or unknown one)
— Have expired or terminated TPS
— Have criminal history or visa violations
— Entered through CHNV, U4U, or CBP One
If ICE approaches you: Say only — “I want to speak to my attorney.” Nothing else.
Confirmed airports:
ATL • JFK • LGA • EWR • IAH • HOU • ORD • PHX • MSY • CLE • PIT • RSW • SFO • SJU

H-1B Lottery FY2027 is almost here.

Registration opens March 4, 2026 — and this year brings important changes, including a weighted lottery system that may prioritize higher wage levels.
If you’re on OPT or planning your next move, these details matter:
✔️ Employers must register you
✔️ $215 fee is employer’s responsibility
✔️ Higher wages may improve selection odds
✔️ Valid passport is critical
✔️ Selection does NOT equal approval
Swipe through to understand what every H-1B applicant should know before registration opens.
Planning for FY2027? Early wage strategy and eligibility review can make a difference.

🚨 Important immigration warning
USCIS actively cross-checks LinkedIn profiles with visa petitions—and we’re seeing denials over inconsistencies that people didn’t realize mattered.

Here are 4 LinkedIn mistakes that are triggering visa and green card denials:
1️⃣ Job titles that don’t match what was filed with USCIS
2️⃣ Multiple employers listed while on a single-employer visa
3️⃣ OPT employment that doesn’t match what was reported to your school
4️⃣ Recommendations that reveal unauthorized work or side businesses

Even small wording issues can be treated as unauthorized employment or misrepresentation.
If you’re on H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, or applying for a green card, your online presence must match your legal status exactly.

Before you file—or if your case is pending—review your profiles carefully.

🚨 Social Media Can Delay Your Green Card 🚨
USCIS expanded social media screening in March 2025, and officers do review what you post. Here are 5 social media red flags that can slow down — or seriously hurt — a green card case 👇

📍 Location inconsistencies
If your application says Florida but your posts are always tagged in New York, that raises credibility concerns.
💼 Unauthorized work clues
Posts about freelancing, side hustles, or “DM for services” can be used as evidence of unauthorized employment.
💎 Lifestyle that doesn’t match your status
Luxury trips, designer items, or expensive cars while on a student visa may trigger questions about unreported income or fraud.
💬 Timeline contradictions
Comments or captions that don’t match your relationship or residency timeline can be used against you.
📱 Old dating app activity
Screenshots or messages after claiming exclusivity or marriage can seriously undermine marriage-based cases.

⚠️ Bottom line:
USCIS looks at consistency and credibility. What you post matters more than you think.
If you’re filing or planning to file, review your online presence before submitting your case.

📌 February 2026 Visa Bulletin Update

This month brings limited forward movement in a few family- and employment-based categories, while most remain unchanged.

Some applicants are a step closer — but overall backlogs continue. Monitoring priority dates and planning filings strategically is still key.

🚨 Immigration Update – January 2026 🚨

The U.S. has paused immigrant visa processing for nationals of 75 countries starting January 21, 2026.

📌 What this affects:
• Immigrant visas issued abroad (family-based & employment-based green cards)

📌 What this does NOT affect:
• Tourist, student, and work visas (H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, etc.)
• Adjustment of Status applications filed inside the U.S.

⏳ The pause is indefinite and tied to expanded public-charge screening. Cases are delayed — not automatically denied.

👇 FULL LIST OF AFFECTED COUNTRIES:

Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belarus, Belize, Bhutan, Bosnia, Brazil, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Colombia, Côte d’Ivoire, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Dominica, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Fiji, Gambia, Georgia, Ghana, Grenada, Guatemala, Guinea, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Jamaica, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Republic of the Congo, Russia, Rwanda, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Thailand, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Yemen

🚨 Breaking News 🚨
According to Fox News, the U.S. plans to pause immigrant visa processing for people from 75 countries starting January 21. That means spousal cases, family petitions, and other green card applications handled at U.S. embassies could be delayed.
No timeline yet on when processing will resume. I’ll keep sharing updates as we learn more.

USCIS premium processing fees are increasing March 1, 2026 — and timing matters.
This is an inflation-based increase tied to CPI, not a change in eligibility or faster approvals. If your case relies on premium processing, early planning can help reduce cost and risk.

Save this for your 2026 immigration planning.

H-1B lottery rules are shifting for FY 2027, and strategy now matters.

If H-1B is part of your plan:
• Review wage levels early — Level III or IV roles will have stronger odds
• Align job titles and duties with the correct wage tier (misclassification can hurt you)
• Plan filings well before registration opens — last-minute fixes won’t work under the new system
• Employers: reassess compensation strategy now, not after the lottery

The process isn’t random anymore. Preparation can directly impact selection.

Did you know?
As of January 2026, USCIS is still pausing immigration applications for people from certain travel-ban countries.

Pending cases, like green cards, asylum, and other benefits, are not being denied, but they will not move forward until additional security reviews are completed. This means processing delays are ongoing, and many applicants may experience longer wait times than usual.

If you or your family are affected, staying informed and planning next steps is more important than ever.

The H-1B lottery is changing for FY 2027.

USCIS will move from a random lottery to a wage-based weighted selection system, giving higher-paid roles better odds while keeping all wage levels eligible. The rule takes effect February 27, 2026 and applies to the FY 2027 cap season.

DHS says the change aims to reduce abuse and prioritize higher-skilled, higher-wage professionals. Cap numbers and LCA rules remain the same.

For employers and workers alike, wage strategy and early planning now matter more than ever.
