Family battles hospital in court over son's cancer treatment

Attorney Christina Zauhar represents a mom and dad whose 5-year-old son has been removed from their custody due to their decision to not continue additional rounds of chemotherapy after cancer was no longer detected in the child. Wright County now has custody of the child and is proceeding with chemotherapy against the parents’ wishes.

The couple's son went through one round of chemo after being diagnosed with leukemia. Now, they are fighting in court to prevent future treatments, preferring to treat their child with natural remedies -- while the hospital insists on a two-year regiment.
