Attorney Martin has been practicing law in Western Massachusetts for 39 years, with extensive experience in Commercial Real Estate transactions and Business and Corporate Law. Over his career, Attorney Martin has been involved in real estate projects and financings in the area and has litigated complex property issues in the Massachusetts Land Court.

A native of the area, Attorney Martin attended the Northfield Mt. Hermon School and is a graduate of Springfield College and Western New England University School of Law. He is a member of the Massachusetts and Hampden County Bar Associations and is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar, the United States District Court of Massachusetts, the United States District Court of Connecticut, the United States First Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Tax Court.

Attorney Martin was formerly a partner at Ryan & White, P.C. and Morrison Mahoney LLP. He serves on the board of ChildHope, a charitable organization dedicated to building and running schools in Central and South America and is chairman of the board of Teen Challenge New England, a faith based nonprofit drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. Attorney O’Connor was awarded a Juris Doctor, magna cm laude, from Western New England College School of Law, graduating second in her class. During law school, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Western New England Law Review. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut, cm laude. In addition to being a Chapter 7 Panel Trustee for the District of Connecticut, Attorney O’Connor is also an adjunct professor at Elms College in Chicopee, Massachusetts, where she teaches Advanced Legal Research and Writing.

Attorney O’Connor concentrates her practice in commercial and consumer bankruptcy and insolvency matters. She has successfully represented debtors, creditors, and trustees in reorganization, liquidation and litigation cases in Massachusetts and Connecticut. Prior to joining the firm, Attorney O’Connor was a shareholder at Hendel, Collins & O’Connor, P.C. She also served as a law clerk to the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts.

Attorney O’Connor has been admitted to practice law the Courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Connecticut, the U.S. District Court for the Districts of Massachusetts and Connecticut and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Attorney O’Connor is a member of several professional organizations including the Hampden County Bar Association and the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation.

Attorney O’Connor was recently appointed to the Western New England University School of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors for the 2021-2024 term, comprised of a dedicated group of fellow graduates who represent the interests of alumni and offer a broad array of opportunities for alumni to stay engaged.

She is also appointed to the Board of Directors for The National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ), a non-profit human relations organization. She serves on the Diversity Task Force and Pro Bono Committee for the Massachusetts Bankruptcy Court and volunteers for the M. Ellen Carpenter Financial Literacy Program, providing basic financial literacy information for high school students.

Attorney O’Connor is regularly called upon to serve as a panelist, lecturer and contributing author regarding various insolvency law matters. She has published numerous articles and a chapter on the impact of bankruptcy on the landlord-tenant relationship.

Attorney Collins received an Associate of Arts degree from Holyoke Community College in 1973 and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College in 1975. Attorney Collins received his legal education at the Suffolk University School of Law where he was awarded a Juris Doctor degree in 1978.

Attorney Collins has handled some of the state’s most complex and high-profile cases of the past three decades. Among his many achievements, he has been named one the Best Lawyers in America by Woodard & White, Inc., and has been recognized as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer and Top 100 Lawyer by Boston Magazine. He is the longest serving Bankruptcy Panel Trustee in the United States and is also an elected Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy. He is a graduate of Boston College and Suffolk University School of Law.

Attorney Collins is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy. He holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and is listed in the Best Lawyers in America published by Woodward/White. Since 2004, he has been given the designation “Super Lawyer” by Boston Magazine. In 2013, 2009, 2008, and 2006, Attorney Collins was named as one of the top 100 lawyers in Massachusetts by that publication.

Attorney Collins served as an Adjunct Professor of Bankruptcy Law at Western New England College School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts for over ten years and is regularly called upon to serve as a panelist and lecturer on bankruptcy and commercial law topics.

He is a member of the American and Hampden County Bar Associations, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the National Association Bankruptcy Trustees and the Commercial Law League of America.
