If you're planning to retire in Idaho or move here to be near the grandkids, this 55 and older community in Meridian deserves a close look. 🌳
Denise toured a 3 bedroom, 2 bath patio home with an office. It has 1,846 square feet on one level and sits right across from the community park, ponds, pathways, and clubhouse. It was built in 2015, and the sellers recently added new LVP flooring, new carpet, and fresh paint on the walls and trim, so you can move in without a to-do list.
The kitchen has granite counters, knotty alder accents, a five-burner gas range, and a butler's pantry for hosting. There's even a pantry with outlets built right into the shelves, so the coffee maker finally has a permanent spot. ☕ The primary bathroom has a tile shower with a built-in bench and grab bars, dual vanities, and a separate toilet room.
If you're coming from out of state, the video also covers the practical things: crawl space vs. slab, radon mitigation, and how pressurized irrigation works in Treasure Valley HOAs. HOA dues were $100 a month at the time of filming. Settlers Park, The Village at Meridian, the Meridian Senior Center, and indoor pickleball at The Flying Pickle are all close by.
