We serve individuals, families, and businesses across the Triangle and state with the responsiveness and personal attention you deserve. Jim Arges has been a licensed North Carolina attorney for more than three decades. A Durham native, he graduated from Durham Academy, Duke University (B.A. in History), and Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. Jim practices estate planning and real estate law because he genuinely enjoys working with people on the most important investments of their lives. He is known for his warmth, responsiveness, and ability to make complex legal processes feel manageable, and for making sure phone calls get returned promptly. Jim is a member, treasurer, and past president of the Real Estate Lawyers Association of North Carolina (RELANC). He serves on the Real Property and Estate Planning Sections of the North Carolina Bar Association and is an affiliate member of the Durham Regional Association of Realtors and the Triangle Mortgage Lenders Association. In the community, Jim has served as a youth athletics coach and is an active member of Watts Street Baptist Church, where he has served as Deacon, Church Moderator, and Sunday School Teacher.

Our friends at Parktown Food Hub need food donations this week. You are invited to join the Arges Law Firm in stocking their shelves. Please drop off donations at our law office during business hours between now and September 12, and we will deliver.

URGENT NEED: Please help Us Restock Our Shelves! 🙏

Our community is facing an unprecedented need. Recent storms and flooding, combined with ongoing economic challenges, have left many of our neighbors struggling with food insecurity.

We are critically low on shelf-stable grocery items like:

Canned goods (soups, beans, vegetables)

Tuna & canned chicken

Macaroni & cheese

Cereal bars, cereal, oatmeal

Ramen, packaged meals, spaghetti noodles

Tomato sauce (no glass please)
