Bellevue is sounding beautiful this week 🎷💛

The Bellevue Jazz & Blues Music Series takes over downtown Bellevue Oct 7–11 — five days of live jazz and blues, with headliners at the Meydenbauer Center Theatre: Jazz Overhaul on Friday, Oct 9 at 7:30 PM (Seattle grunge classics, reimagined as jazz!) and Lady A on Saturday, Oct 10 at 7:30 PM.

One of the things I love about Bellevue: world-class music, right in the middle of the neighborhood. Full schedule and tickets are on the Bellevue Downtown Association page — search "Bellevue Jazz & Blues Music Series."

Tacoma after dark, 1857-style. 🕯️✨

Fort Nisqually's Candlelight Tour is happening tonight and Saturday, Oct 2–3, from 6–10 PM at Point Defiance. More than 100 interpreters bring Hudson's Bay Company life to life by campfire and candlelight while guests quietly eavesdrop on another era.

Advance tickets are required, the walking tour lasts about an hour, and it runs rain or shine. Arrive at the Point Defiance Zoo parking lot 15 minutes before your ticketed shuttle time. No photography during the tour — just be present and enjoy the glow.
