As a solo/small firm owner, the end of the year is an important time to reflect, assess, and strategize for the future. One of the biggest areas I always evaluate is marketing and I am admittedly well behind much of my peers in leveraging social media. This is more so true in terms of my hesitation to post/take pictures with my clients after a win – I feel like I am invading my client’s privacy purely for my benefit. However, I was recently taken aback (in a good way) when my client asked if we could take a photo together after our successful resolution in court (and gave me permission to use). Looking back on 2025, I am grateful for all of our clients and referral attorneys who trust us with their case. Many clients are dealing with an unfamiliar situation for the first time in their lives. I always view my role as not only to be a zealous advocate, but to alleviate as much stress and anxiety my clients experience throughout the process. So thank you again to all those that continue to place their trust in us, and I look forward to an even greater 2026!
