The Sixth Circuit Federal Court held that if an immigrant is apprehended inside the border, rather than at the border, then he is entitled to a bond hearing. We recently managed to resolve two traffic violation cases without our clients having to appear in court. Our clients were relieved, especially since the Gestapo is invading our city again. Be careful.

Remember, ICE is our government. Officers are now going door to door. The government cannot go inside your home without a warrant. You do not have to let them in. You don’t have to answer the door. Be careful.

Today, our two clients had ICE check ins. This was very tense since some have recently been detained at check ins. We accompanied our clients and explained the cases to ICE. Our clients were not detained. We count small victories like this to help us keep fighting in the face of tragedy.

Hoy, dos de nuestros clientes tenían citas con ICE (Servicio de Inmigración y Control de Aduanas). La situación era muy tensa, ya que algunos inmigrantes han sido detenidos recientemente durante estas citas. Acompañamos a nuestros clientes y explicamos sus casos a los agentes de ICE. The Judge dismissed an immigration removal case of ours after we timely objected to the charging document. Our family of clients are currently safe from deportation because of it. Merry Christmas!
