As we approach Year 7 of having created GreatHomesATLl and 17+ years of coming into each other’s lives, it is always necessary to give THANKS.

Being a business owner (not just a real estate agent) is one of the hardest and most intense things you can do. Doing it right in the middle of a pandemic, after getting laid off, sending your child off to college (and the financial burden it brings), losing your father, your boxers (who were really like your own children), illness (personal and family), all in that first year of business, can put a strain on your household/relationship.

We have seen many friends come and go. We have seen many people use us. We have seen many people disappointment us.

BUT GOD.

We have seen many hate on us. We have heard many talk behind our backs. We have seen the jealousy first-hand.

BUT GOD.

We have argued, fussed, struggled, and cried.

BUT GOD.

What we haven’t done.

Everyone please congratulate Mark & Charlotte for closing on her BEAUTIFUL BRAND NEW HOME that they purchased with GreatHomesATL!

This wonderful couple and their family had been watching us for many years on Instagram and YouTube. They really enjoyed Mark’s Home Tours all the way from Michigan. As Mark was winding down his career in the Auto Industry in the Greater Detroit Area, they knew it was time to meet with us, to prepare for their move to Greater Atlanta for their retirement years.

January 26, 2026. That is when they completed their preapproval with our lender referral, and scheduled their Zoom consultation with us. On our consultation, we discussed their wish list and put a plan together to make their dreams a reality. They truly wanted a Brand New home and an area that would be peaceful, but still give them access to everything Atlanta had to offer.

We put together an itinerary for their multiple visits to the area, so they could get familiar with various areas and see what was available for their budget.

On their second trip down, we nailed down the area and floorplans they desired (this is why proper planning and having a knowledgeable and experienced Broker is imperative).

Because of our unparalleled connections in the industry and personal relationships with dozens of builders, we were able to secure their new home for an amazing deal.
