There are some deals in real estate you never forget… and today was one of those.💚

I’ve been working with this sweet couple for a little while now. The first home they were supposed to buy failed to close literally the day before closing. Disappointing? Absolutely. But deep down, we all knew God’s hand was in it. Sometimes what feels like a setback is actually protection.

Today, during the final walk-through on the home they DID purchase, I looked down at the front door threshold and saw a penny lying there. 💚

If you’ve followed me for long, you know every time I find a penny, I’m reminded that “In God We Trust.”

What a sweet little Godwink on closing day.😉

A reminder that God will absolutely put a roadblock in front of what is not meant to be… and He will open the door for what IS meant to be. Thank you Jesus! 🙏

Congratulations to my buyers as they make the move from out of state to be closer to family here in sweet home Alabama. It has truly been a blessing getting to know you and helping you find your home. Welcome home, y’all. 🏡❤️

Monday Motivation 🐎 | Golden Tempo

Did y’all see this finish?!
I love a great underdog story.

Golden Tempo—a 23-1 longshot ridden by Jose Ortiz and trained by Cherie DeVaux—won the 152nd Kentucky Derby by a neck… and made history as the first female-trained horse to win it. By. A. Neck.

That right there will preach!!

Because it wasn’t about being the favorite…
It was about finishing strong.

And if I’m being honest—this one hit me.

Some seasons just feel long.
Between renovating, driving back and forth from the country, running a business… it can feel like I’m pushing hard and still not quite at the finish line.

And that’s when it’s tempting to ease up.
To coast a little.
To say, “Let me catch my breath.”

But that’s not where the win is.

The win is in that moment where you’re tired… and you lean in anyway.
Where you’ve shown homes all weekend, negotiated contracts late into the night, managed all the moving pieces… and you still show up Monday ready to go again.

Because just like that race—
you don’t know how close you are.

Galatians 6:9 has been sitting on my heart:
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

So here’s your reminder (and mine)…
Don’t pull back now.
Don’t coast now.

Find that next gear.

Your “due season” might be one strong finish away.

💚Monday Motivation 💚

“This is my story… this is my song…”

Over the past few weeks, I’ve learned some things about people—pieces of their stories—that honestly surprised me. Not because I judged them… but because I simply didn’t know. And it reminded me of something powerful…

We really don’t know what people have walked through.

Yesterday at church, as we sang “This is my story, this is my song,” and listened to our preacher share how he overcame leukemia… it hit me differently. That wasn’t just a chapter in his life—it became part of his praise.

And isn’t that how God works?

We often think the hard parts of our story should be hidden…
The disappointments.
The abuse.
The illness.
The loss.

But what if those very things are the testimony?

What if the parts we try to tuck away are the very places where God shows up the strongest?

Every story looks different.
Every journey has its own valleys and victories.
But every single piece—yes, even the painful ones—can be used to glorify our Savior.

So this week, don’t be ashamed of your story.
Don’t minimize what you’ve walked through.

Own it.
Honor it.
And let God use it.

Because your story… just might be the song someone else needs to hear. ✨
