Yesterday was our final Scott School Staff Appreciation lunch and prize giveaway of the school year.

This has been one of the most rewarding ways I’ve ever been able to give back to our community.

I’ve always known teachers are underappreciated, but sitting with them during lunch — even just once a month — showed me they truly are the superheroes of our community. Their patience, heart, and dedication do not go unnoticed. ❤️

I’ve heard it a million times ..

“I just don’t want to buy in Lansing.”

and THIS is why I’ve become passionate about showing Lansing for what it really is… an equity building, growing quickly capitol city! 📈

1) 235 S Grand Ave (downtown) will be a HUGE 28 story building featuring 200 apartments with 2 floors being lounges. One being the top floor. This is part of the “New Vision Lansing” project. 🏠

2) Downtown will be getting its very own “Brick Row!” Just east of the Lugnuts stadium, soon there will be 15 more housing units and 6 more retail spaces 😍

3) Next to Motor Wheel Lofts, this empty factory will be turned into 133 apartments!! ALL WIND, SOLAR, AND WATER POWERED?! And AFFORDABLE 👏🏼

4) $175M courthouse is underway, as well as a performing arts center. Lansing is putting its tax dollars to WORK lately!!
