If AMEX (or any credit card company) adversely impacted your credit score by reducing your credit limit to falsely show you are close to or beyond your creditor limit, and when you ask for a reason why they fail to provide a valid reason...file a complaint with the CFPB. This is illegal per 15USC41 §1601.
