Due to a gas leak and subsequent explosion, Matt’s client's rental home was destroyed and the client suffered significant burn injuries. A claim was made against the client's landlord, which resulted in a settlement recovery of $1,000,000.

Way to go Matt!! Truly life changing ✨

Chris Spaulding recently settled a case for just under $400,000. The insurance company denied the claim, and he was required to take several depositions to find the truth about the work his client performed that caused his injuries. He ended up trying the workers’ compensation case in January. Recently, the defense attorney contacted Chris indicating that the insurance company wanted to settle. This case was not settled until significant discovery was conducted, and independent witnesses were called at the time of the workers’ compensation trial. The client was very pleased with his result. Way to go Chris!!!! 👊

LAWYER SPOTLIGHT ✨

Chris Spaulding is in his 34th year of practice, and has never received an Arbitration Decision (decision from the Administrative Law Judge) and an Appeal Decision (decision from the Workers' Compensation Commissioner) on the same day. However, on February 13th he received both an Arbitration Decision and Appeal Decision. Both Decisions were favorable and both cases were highly contested. It was a good day!!

New Kart - New Year - New Goals 🏁
Our 2025 racing season has begun!!! Tonight Daxx will be racing at ViolaBoyz Backroad Speedway in Viola, IL.
Dad has been working diligently over the past few weeks to prepare the kart! The kart looks so freggin impressive thanks to Gage Stevens!!!!
Daxx feels confident in his new kart and is extremely excited to finally be back in the driver's seat! Thank you so much to all our sponsors! This would not be possible without your support!

Last week, members of the Spaulding and Shaull team took part in Courage on the Court, a wheelchair basketball tournament hosted by Can Play. This fundraiser gives participants a firsthand experience at the daily challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. All proceeds support Can Play's adaptive sports programs and provide new equipment and opportunities for less fortunate. The team had so much fun and can’t wait to partake again next year!!
