Huge month for the Carr Law Firm and our fearless leader, Erin Carr! On May 2, 2025, Erin secured a favorable verdict for a client facing 25 + years with mandatory minimum time, giving him a chance to return to his family soon. That same week, Erin was able to help his 17 year old client receive a deferred judgment on a manslaughter charge. The young man got to return home to his family.
Then, a week later, on May 9, 2025, Erin won a custody trial in Davenport. Erin’s client is a young father who has not been able to see his 14 month old baby for more than 2 hours per week since the day she was born. Despite several efforts to reason with the mother, she was not willing to allow more visitation time without a court order. At the conclusion of trial, the Judge ruled from the bench that visitation shall begin immediately and Erin’s client got to spend the weekend with his little girl. Erin worked day and night for both clients and we are all so proud of him and the outcomes he was able to secure for them. Congratulations to Erin and his clients!
