Fewer than 3% of lawyers in private practice globally are recognized by Best Lawyers® — and this year, we’re proud to celebrate two attorneys from Kontnik | Cohen.

Jacob Allen has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the 33rd edition of The Best Lawyers in America® for his work in Family Law. This marks Jacob’s first Best Lawyers recognition and reflects the respect and confidence of his peers in the legal community.

Spencer Kontnik has also been selected for inclusion in the seventh edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for his work in:
    •    Civil Rights Law
    •    Labor and Employment Law – Employee
    •    Litigation – Labor and Employment

Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America recognizes attorneys earlier in their careers for professional excellence in private practice, with honorees selected through a peer-review process.

Congratulations to Jacob and Spencer on these peer-recognized honors and the work that earned them!

Best Lawyers® recognitions are based on peer review and do not constitute a guarantee of future results.

We’re not afraid to argue. In fact, it’s part of the job. Because sometimes, helping your client means being willing to fight for their position, and we’re very comfortable doing that.

Happy Paralegal Day to our two amazing team members, Kylee and Jennifer!

A paralegal’s work might be behind the scenes but it is the backbone of every case we work on for each client that comes through our doors!

A house crumbles when built on a weak foundation. Thank you for providing a strong foundation for us at Kontnik | Cohen!

Kontnik | Cohen loves the Denver Polo Classic and has proudly supported the nonprofit behind the event, Denver Children’s Foundation , for more than 10 years.

Fun Fact: founding partners Austin Cohen & Spencer Kontnik first met while serving as members of the Foundation. What started as “if” they should start a law firm together eventually became “when.”
