During the 2020 George Floyd protests, our client, Mr. Feldmann, suffered a devastating injury when a pepper ball fired by Denver police struck him in the eye after he raised his hands and stated, “We’re all Americans.”

Despite video evidence showing he posed no threat, no officer accepted responsibility for the shooting. Alongside co-counsel, we pursued claims for excessive force, constitutional violations, failure to intervene, and the life-altering injuries our client sustained.

Justice and accountability matter.

In 2017, Northglenn police officers approached a parked Honda Civic where victims, Patscheck and Minella were sleeping and fired multiple shots into the vehicle. Patscheck was killed, and Minella was left paralyzed from the neck down.

Alongside co-counsel, Beem & Isley, P.C. fought for accountability and secured an $8.75 million settlement from the City of Northglenn.

At the time, this was the largest settlement in Colorado history for an officer-involved shooting case.
