This morning, members of the HHMR team volunteered with Food for Thought. Volunteers packed 5,000 weekend food bags for families across our community in just a few hours. Our group packed 185 of those bags, directly serving 185 families.

What makes this organization remarkable is not only the scale of the impact, but the consistency. Volunteers have gathered every Friday morning, without interruption, since St. Patrick’s Day 2012 to ensure children have food for the weekend. No fanfare. No drama. Just steady service.

Food insecurity remains a real issue in our region, and Food for Thought offers a simple, effective way to respond. Show up. Pack bags. Make a difference.
