Erik L. Burns recently attended the AFCC 2026 State Conference in Baton Rouge.

The Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) is an international organization made up of professionals from the legal and mental health fields, including attorneys, judges, mediators, counselors, and many more. The organization focuses on improving how family conflicts are handled in court.

Its primary goal is to improve outcomes for children and families.
