🎷 BozLaw, PA is proud to sponsor the next Jazz on the Alley featuring the Alley Cats … which seems mildly suspicious given this month’s theme is “Celebrating Our Feathered Friends.” 🐦🐱

Join us Tuesday, May 19th from 7–8:30 p.m. in Artisan Alley for great music, good company, and what we hope will remain a peaceful bird-cat coexistence.

Looking forward to seeing everyone! 🍷 🍻

“Has your abuser told you to delete messages, photos, or any other documentation of their actions? They may claim erasing these things will protect you. Do not believe them. The only reason someone urges you to destroy evidence is to protect themselves.”

Victims of sexual abuse often believe all they have is their word against the word of their abuser. This is rarely the case, as there are often witnesses to corroborate the victims story and documentation of the abuser’s behavior. Victims are often pressured to delete evidence like messages and ph...

All too often, abuse survivors tend to look through “rose-colored glasses” and overlook red flags when a Christian institution expresses interest in conducting an “independent investigation.”

“You have, understandably, a trust in this institution, because you think because they’re Christian, that they’re going to do the right thing,” Tchividjian said. “And you need to at least take a step back and think about the possibility that maybe they’re not doing the right thing. Maybe they’re more concerned about themselves than you. And maybe they’re utilizing this trust and this hope that you have in the institution to protect themselves and to discourage you from taking further action.”

A Wheaton College alumnus shares his story of repeated abuse by administrator Dennis Massaro and says the school’s secrecy enabled further harm and lasting trauma.

“We are so thankful for Boz Law. They represented us and took on our case when every other law firm turned us away and made us feel that the neglect act towards our daughter was not worth pursuing accountability for. Boz and his team made us feel like our family mattered and acted as our advocate during our trying time. Thank God for putting Boz Law in our lives and we are forever grateful for him and his team and the hard work they provided to get us justice and closure.” - [BozLaw client]

Last week, the world lost a hero—though most never knew his name.

Ray Mouton, an attorney from Lafayette, Louisiana, risked and ultimately lost nearly everything to expose and confront the Catholic Church’s epidemic of child sexual abuse. His efforts began nearly two decades before the Spotlight investigation in Boston brought national attention to the crisis. For his courage, he was minimized, ignored, and vilified.

Years later, after he moved to France in search of distance from it all, I had the privilege of becoming his friend. Ray carried the cost of doing the right thing—but never the regret.

His book, In God’s House, is essential reading for anyone committed to protecting children and holding institutions accountable.

Anyone willing to lose everything to safeguard children is a rare kind of hero. We lost one of those rare heroes last week. Rest in peace, my friend.https://www.nytimes.com/2026/02/11/us/politics/ray-mouton-dead.html?unlocked_article_code=1.LVA.cppg.0jn9eqZiNV2R&smid=url-share

“By filing this lawsuit, Suzi Lander is showing extraordinary courage in confronting years of sexual abuse and in demanding accountability from Rod Loy and North Little Rock First Assembly of God Church,” he wrote. “Her decision to come forward brings this egregious abuse into public view and underscores her determination to pursue justice.”~ Boz Tchividjian

A former member of North Little Rock First Assembly of God has sued the church and its lead pastor, Rod Loy, accusing him of sexual abuse that began when she was 16 years old and continued for two decades.

We are thrilled to announce that Kate Roberts joined BozLaw as a full-time associate attorney on November 1, 2025. I had the privilege of representing Kate several years ago. Not long afterward, she reached out to discuss her interest in attending law school—a path I enthusiastically encouraged he...

“I can tell you the day a court holds that the SBC itself can be held liable for the abuse that occurs within a church or within one of the SBC ministries, that will be a huge opportunity for survivors to step forward and begin holding the SBC financially accountable and maybe that will cause them to make some changes."

The only solution for the Southern Baptist Convention to solve its sexual abuse problem is to dismantle the denomination entirely, according to Boz Tchividjian, one of the nation’s best-known attorneys representing abuse survivors. “They tried to put some Band-Aids on it, and they were more conc...

Heading to Baltimore to meet with a client who was sexually abused as a minor by a church leader’s daughter—and then shamed by church leadership for years. After decades of silence, he’s finally putting the pieces of his life back together and for the first time has hope for his future.

This is why we sue churches.

A youth pastor groomed our client from age 16, establishing complete influence and control over her. Within days of her 18th birthday, he initiated sexual contact that continued for months. Tragically, in most states, this predatory abuse is completely lawful.
