HOW MANY SCREENS CAN A BROKERAGE COORDINATOR COMFORTABLY OPERATE?

The limit does not exist.

One screen for MLS, one for documents, one for marketing, and one for ChatGPT because sometimes even the person keeping everyone else organized needs a little backup.

Somewhere in between answering questions, juggling deadlines, tracking paperwork, creating posts, and opening 47 tabs that I swear I absolutely need, I occasionally remember what I was originally trying to do.

And just when I think I've got everything under control, the phone rings.

Brokerage coordinating: 10% knowing what's happening, 90% making it LOOK like you know what's happening. Just kidding... mostly.

THE ROAD TO CLOSING: 6 STOPS ON YOUR JOURNEY HOME!

You've found the house, your offer has been accepted, and now the excitement is REAL! But what's next? Let's take a look at the six stops between an accepted offer and those beautiful new house keys!

1: Contract Accepted & Deadlines Set
The journey begins! Once everyone has signed, your contract deadlines are officially in motion. Keep track of important dates and make sure you know what's expected of you along the way.

2: Deposit Delivered
Your earnest money deposit is delivered according to the contract instructions and deadline. Think of it as a good-faith deposit toward the transaction. Be sure to follow the agreed-upon instructions for delivery!

3: Inspections & Due Diligence
Time to get to know your future home a little better! Schedule your inspections, review the findings, and address any concerns within the deadlines outlined in your contract.

4: Appraisal & Financing
Your lender works on your mortgage approval and arranges an appraisal to help determine the home's value. Stay responsive to requests for documents, and avoid major financial changes without checking with your lender first!
