The storm brought a lot of damage, but the Brantley Law flag is still standing. A small reminder that even in the middle of chaos, we keep moving forward.

On a more serious note, our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the tornado. Our Springtown location will be closed for the foreseeable future as we work through the damage, but all meetings will be moved to our Decatur office.

Ms. Shannon will be reaching out soon regarding any existing appointments.

If anyone in our community needs help, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Moments like this remind us that we are stronger when we come together.

Do you have a plan in place to protect your family, or are you relying on a will alone?

In this month’s Wise Living, Brantley Law explains why a living trust can be one of the most powerful tools for protecting your assets and your loved ones. While wills have their place, a revocable living trust offers added privacy, flexibility, and peace of mind.

With a living trust, your assets can be transferred smoothly without the delays, costs, and stress of probate. That means your family can avoid court involvement and gain quicker access to what they need during an already difficult time.

A trust also allows you to maintain control of your assets during your lifetime, while ensuring your wishes are carried out if you become unable to manage your affairs. It provides clear direction, protects vulnerable beneficiaries, and keeps your financial matters private.

Estate planning is not just about documents, it is about making life easier for the people you love.

Do not leave your family’s future to chance. Take steps now to create a plan that brings clarity and security.
