Yesterday, members of the firm attended the DeKalb Pro Bono Leading the Charge Awards Luncheon, celebrating the attorneys and volunteers expanding access to civil legal services across DeKalb County.

Williams Teusink is proud to support the organization and its important work in the community. We’re also grateful for the leadership of our colleague Gilbert Morales, who serves on the nonprofit’s board and works alongside a network of committed attorneys advancing access to justice.

Last week, Eric Teusink joined the UGA School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA) Bulldog 100 honoree panel, sharing his path from political science major to Managing Partner of Williams Teusink while offering the students insights on what worked, and, perhaps more importantly, what he would have done differently.

Moderated by Dr. Justin Conrad, Department Head and Professor of International Affairs, the discussion brought together business owners to reflect on building organizations, navigating challenges, and lessons learned along the way.

The event is organized by Urban Farm in Ormewood, a nonprofit dedicated to stewarding urban green space and supporting community health and well-being by cultivating habitats for wildlife conservation, regenerative gardening and nature education.

Our firm previously supported Red’s Farm during the effort to preserve the property and transfer it into a City of Atlanta park, and we’re proud to continue that support today.
