UNDER GA Code § 9-16-13

1️⃣ Determine which agency seized your items (FBI, DEA, State/Local Cops)

2️⃣ They must FILE A COMPLAINT;

3️⃣ SERVICE of the Summons &Complaint - They must serve you informing you of what they took and why;

4️⃣ 30 DAYS‼️‼️ - Very important 👌- Many miss this. A defendant must file an ANSWER within 30 days after the service of the summons and complaint!!!!!!!

❌️❌️❌️❌️ If you do not File an answer, the government will ask for a default judgment and the Court may allow them to keep your stuff, so always file an ANSWER!

✔️✔️✔️✔️ HINT HINT HINT --- Let's say you want to claim the items and you weren't the person arrested...you can. Follow the same steps.

5️⃣ A HEARING- A hearing is scheduled so find proof, deposits, receipts, and more to show the items were yours! 😉

JAILED❓️HOW TO GET OUT👇

📢IF YOU GET ARRESTED ALWAYS REMEMBER..

1️⃣ First Appearance - You MUST see a judge within 72 hours of your arrest.

2️⃣ Bond ‼️‼️‼️ - You can request a low bond or signature bond. If your bond is denied your attorney can file a 30 day bond, 60 bond for Newly Discovered Evidence, and a 90 day non- indictment bond! (YOU'RE WELCOME!)

3️⃣ Preliminary Hearing - You can request a PH if your bond is denied.

4️⃣ Standard of Proof at a PH - They only need to show probable cause, meaning a crime was likely committed and the defendant is likely the person who committed it. If there was no probable cause for your arrest, the just will dismiss the charges.

5️⃣ Attorney Representation- You cannot be denied an attorney!!! If you cannot afford one, most be provided for you!

💢DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE: Who has faked their dog's 🐕 status to gain access in businesses, on planes, or venues?

💢SERVICE DOG LAWS IN CALIFORNIA: This law targets individuals who fraudulently misrepresent pets to gain public access...

💫1) Falsely claiming a pet is a service dog is a misdemeanor under CA Penal Code 365.7, punishable by up to 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine.

💫2) Dog owners cannot sell, lease, or rent service dog tags/vests illegally. Those selling emotional support animals (ESAs) items must notify buyers that the animal is not a service dog. (Includes using online services to buy vests, ID tags, or "registration" documents to falsely pass off a pet as a service animal.)

💢WHAT IS NOT A SERVICE ANIMAL:
Emotional support animals, comfort animals, or therapy dogs are not considered service animals under the ADA and do not have the same public access rights. You can be charged!

❌️Enter with Administrative Warrants: ICE agents often use administrative warrants which are signed by an ICE supervisor, not a judge.

❌️Search Cars, Bags, or People Without Consent/Warrant: They need a valid warrant, permission, or probable cause.

❌️Legally Enter Private Work Areas: ICE can enter public spaces (supermarket aisles, reception areas) without a warrant, BUT they cannot enter breakrooms, offices, bathrooms, etc without a judicial warrant or employer permission.

❌️Force People to Answer Questions: You have the right to remain silent. You don't have to answer questions about your birth country, immigration status, or show ID.
