What you say matters as much as how fast you say it. "I hurt my back at work" leaves an adjuster room to argue. Naming the task, the equipment, and when the pain started leaves much less room.
Timing works the same way. Georgia gives you 30 days to report a work injury to your employer, and if days pass before your first medical visit, insurers will often point to that delay as evidence the injury never came from your job at all.
