Before I ever became an attorney, I learned what it feels like to be the family on the other side.

Watching someone you love suffer while decisions are delayed over paperwork changes you. It showed me how quickly people can be overlooked when they don’t know what to ask for, who to call, or what the process even means.

That moment stayed with me.

Because when someone is injured, their family shouldn’t have to fight to be seen, heard, or treated with urgency.

That is why I do this work.

Someone has to stand between injured people and a system that too often makes them feel powerless.

Here's the secret nobody talks about enough.
If you truly love what you do — not just "I'll work at it" but love it in your heart — you will be amazing at it. Far beyond anything you could ever read online.
That's where the happiness comes from. And that's what makes the difference between someone who's good and someone who's unforgettable.
Find what you love. The rest follows.

The first people you tell are the ones who already know you.
Friends. Family. People who trust you. You just have to remind them what you do — and keep reminding them.
After that, show up at community events. Get on social media. Share real information about the law so people see you as the go-to. When they need a lawyer, they already know exactly who to call.
Marketing is not complicated. Start close, then expand. And never stop reminding people who you are.

I run at a hundred miles an hour. Achiever. Maximizer. Always go go go.
And I had no idea why everyone around me kept burning out — until I did CliftonStrengths.
It ranks your top strengths out of 34. $60. And it completely changed how I see myself as a leader.
Once I understood my own wiring, everything made sense. And once my team understood theirs, we understood each other on a completely different level.
If you haven't done this with your team yet, put it on your list. It's worth every dollar.

My brother was in a serious car accident. And watching my family struggle to figure out his treatment and what to do — that moment changed everything for me.
I thought, maybe there's a reason this happened right now.
So I explored personal injury law. And I fell in love with every part of it. The courtroom. The objections. Fighting big insurance companies. Standing up for people who can't speak for themselves.
That pain turned into my purpose. And now I run my own firm.
Sometimes the hardest moments in life are pointing you exactly where you need to go.

Want to be a lawyer? Here's the real path.
High school. Then four years of college for your degree - sometimes less if you push hard. Then three more years of law school on top of that.
And at the very end, one big test stands between you and the title.
Pass it, and you're a lawyer.
It's a long road. But when you know where you're going, every step makes sense.

Telling someone "that's just an excuse" is the wrong move.
Here's what actually works:
Acknowledge what they're saying. Show them why it's not the real problem. Then ask how you can help them solve what's actually holding them back.
That's the difference between a manager who shuts people down and a leader who moves them forward.

Once I knew I wanted to be a lawyer, I knew exactly what I had to do.
Pay attention in elementary school. Stay focused in middle school and high school. Because by the time college comes, it gets harder — and I had to be ready.
Most people wait until things get hard to start caring. The ones who make it decided early.
Know your goal. Work backwards. Start now.
