Madeline Kerr is a third-year law student at SMU Dedman School of Law with experience in both criminal and family law. During law school, she has worked at a family law firm in Highland Park and at the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, where she gained hands-on courtroom experience, including arguing on the record in matters such as bond revocation hearings and participating in jury trials.
Prior to law school, Madeline graduated summa cm laude from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Accounting and a minor in Finance. During her time at Oklahoma State, she served on the Academic Integrity Panel and student taught accounting classes. A North Texas native, Madeline is excited to continue building her legal career in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Outside of law school, she enjoys traveling, spending time on the lake, playing golf, and spending time with her husband, their dog, Fin, and family and friends.
