Heartwarming story of 80 year old woman voting for the first time. I've been fortunate to vote with my grandmother multiple times. I've lived in 15 countries. However, an adult American Citizen, no matter where I am currently living or working, I've always made sure to be in USA to cast my vote during election years, including THIS year. Some years, my family make it a family event to go vote together. Voting with my family is one of my FAVORITE memories of my life and I cherish it so much. It is something I look forward to EVERY 4 years. Every election year, we have political debate and talks at the dinner table with family, friends, relatives, etc. We listen to each others viewpoints. Some years I even personally campaign for the candidate that so strongly believe in. And on Election Day, we cast our votes and sometimes each family member votes for different candidates and that is OK; it is our AMERICAN RIGHT. I hope every American Citizen can have the voting experience and satisfaction of showing up to the polls and casting your vote. Making YOUR voice heard. It's NOT only our right, but a privilege and duty as an American Citizen, especially on this historical election year. 2024 is a turning point in world history and American history. Please EVERYONE American Citizen (including those that have NEVER voted before) make your voices HEARD. Vote with your heart and your conscience 🙏Facebook USA TODAY Kamala Harris
