We’re pleased to welcome Abdullah Khalil to the MWM team!

Abdullah joins our litigation and employment practices, where he supports clients through all phases of litigation, from pre-suit strategy and discovery through motion practice, trial preparation, and post-judgment proceedings.

Prior to joining MWM, Abdullah served as a federal law clerk to a United States bankruptcy judge, where he gained substantial experience in bankruptcy and creditor rights matters.

Nate joins our litigation practice, where he focuses on intellectual property disputes, appellate proceedings, and strategic IP counseling across a wide range of technologies.

Prior to joining MWM, Nate served as an Administrative Patent Judge at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board, where he presided over inter partes reviews and ex parte appeals involving electrical, computer, and mechanical engineering technologies.

Meet James Miller!

James joins the firm as an IP Patent Prosecution Summer Clerk in our Dallas office. Prior to joining MWM, he gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant for Professor Passa, a Law Student Clinician with the Baylor Law IP Clinic, and a Legal Assistant at Ed White Law.

James is currently pursuing his law degree and is expected to graduate in May 2027.

We’re excited to have James Miller join us as an IP Patent Prosecution Summer Clerk in our Dallas office!

James is currently attending Baylor Law School, where he is active in several legal activities, including the IP Law Society, Shepherd’s Heart Baylor Law Day of Service, and the Patent Advocacy Program. He earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Oklahoma.

Prior to joining MWM, James gained experience as a Research Assistant for Professor Passa, a Law Student Clinician at the Baylor Law IP Clinic, and a Legal Assistant at Ed White Law.
