This hearing today shook my faith in our fundamental right to Due Process. That while accusations are made, they are just that, accusations until they are proven to be substantially more. In our criminal justice system accusations must be proven beyond all reasonable doubt.
However, this was not a trial, this was a confirmation hearing and there appears to be no burden of proof on either party.
So let's digest what was presented.
She offered her testimony and 4 witnesses. All 4 witnesses stated unequivocally that they have no idea what she is talking about.
He offered his testimony and 100's of witnesses that backed his story as well as his character. He also offered his hand written calendars that show definitely he was not in the same universe as Christine Ford.
This is where it gets interesting.
Diane Feinstein sat on her allegations when an FBI team could have throughly investigated them for 30 days, Why?
Ford was not shameful or awkward in her youth. In fact, she was a heavy drinker/drug user and she was incredibly promiscuous. (This was evident from her Sophomore, Junior and Senior yearbooks that were posted online)
Ford's a professor at a small college in Palo Alto and her students have described her as; "Dark," "Vindictive" and "Unhinged."
Ford is a militant liberal who has attended multiple anti-Trump rallies. (This was evident from her social media pages that she scrubbed clean prior to making her accusations public)
Her brother works for Fusion GPS, who handled the Steele dossier that the Left financed and the FBI used to acquire FISA warrants to illegally spy on Trump.
In closing, I can't emphasize enough that in America, you are innocent, until proven guilty. NOT until accused.
