Way to go! I love this win-win for the City of Grapevine and TxDOT. We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful place. Thank you to everyone who works to maintain and enhance that beauty.

Keep Grapevine Beautiful Receives Prestigious Governor’s Community Achievement Award -

Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB) has recognized Keep Grapevine Beautiful (KGVB) as one of ten winners of the 2022 Governor’s Community Achievement Awards (GCAA) for outstanding community improvement. KTB, in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), has awarded the GCAA to Texas communities for more than 50 years. This year, the ten winning communities will share $2 million in landscape funding from TxDOT. Keep Grapevine Beautiful was awarded $250,000 for landscape enhancements along state highway rights-of-ways.

The award is one of the most coveted annual environmental and community improvement honors in Texas. A community’s environmental program is judged by a group of diverse, multi-sector judges on achievements in seven environmental and community improvement areas: public awareness and outreach, environmental education, beautification and community improvement, litter prevention and cleanup, and solid waste management, litter law, and illegal dumping enforcement.

Mayor Pro Tem Darlene Freed stated, “I have seen first-hand the impact of this dynamic organization from beautification projects throughout the City to the facilitation of the Adopt-An-Area Program, where businesses, groups, and individuals participate. We know that this commitment to beautification projects benefits Grapevine's economic development goals as well as our bottom line. In 2021, the Keep Grapevine Beautiful cost-avoidance contributions totaled more than $131,780. Their significant contributions allow our City to be more beautiful, cleaner, and more environmentally conscious.”

Keep Grapevine Beautiful will proudly receive this award at the KTB annual conference in June.

Driven and passionate attorney and business partner, who enjoys practicing law and serving clients well with a "can do", "get it done well" spirit. Dedicated to investing the time necessary and go above and beyond others' expectations while resolving their legal issues.

While at large law firms, my practices were diverse, working on a variety of commercial transactions. I served in key management and leadership roles with various non-profit organizations. I have a passion for leading, working hard, mentoring, helping others, problem solving, and building varied relationships with people.
In early 2018, I resumed my full-time legal career. I am interested in leveraging my expertise and transitioning back to serving a business clientele, in a faster-paced environment.

I am actively seeking an in-house corporate counsel opportunity, preferably related to the real estate industry, where I can use my results oriented skills to achieve business success, working collaboratively, strategically minimizing risk, efficiently resolve conflicts, and maximizing business relationships. Ideal companies that would be a good fit for me as in-house counsel include: developers, real estate asset management and private equity real estate funds, a national restaurant, retailer, or office corporate real property owner, a title company, or a law firm that serves these types of clients.

I appreciate any advice and contacts you may have to share. Please give me a call.

Attorneys Serving the Community (ASC) is an organization I recently rejoined, full of amazing female attorneys from the DFW area. Every year ASC chooses a non-profit organization to support. This year the ASC non-profit is Mosaic, which provides fantastic wrap-around services to women and their families in crises. Please let me know if you would like to be a sponsor for this event and/or join me at a table and attend.

Join us on June 23, 2017 at the Hilton Anatole. Our keynote speaker is Tony-award winner Renee-Elise Goldsberry, the star of Hamilton: An American Musical
