Today marks 8 years since Forester Haynie opened its doors. Back then it was just Jay Forester operating out of a small office in downtown Dallas. Then, Matthew Haynie decided to hop aboard the ship and sail into the unknown. Nothing is ever certain, except change. And as the years have come and gone, that is evident. But Jay and Matthew’s determination to be great has remained unchanged. And with the help of a great team along the way, our mission is still the same: equal access to justice for every person in America. Cheers to 8 years 🎉

Today marks the beginning of the notice period for a security guard case in a Colorado federal court. Forester Haynie was granted permission to send notice to current and former security guards employed by Allied Universal Security Services electronically and via mail.

Forester Haynie was recently granted permission by a Colorado federal court to send notice, electronically and via mail, to current and former security guards employed by Universal Protection Service, LLC d/b/a Allied Universal Security Services who may qualify to opt in to the ongoing lawsuit. Attorneys Stacy Gibson, Colby Qualls, and Matthew McCarley (not pictured) have been admitted to the United States Court of Federal Claims! 

Their admittance to this Court will allow them to represent federal government contract workers who should have been classified as employees, resulting in a violation of minimum wage and overtime laws. The case is pending and a very unique opportunity for Forester Haynie!
