Stay safe, always. At mediation the plan is always to keep you safe. If you feel threatened, what do you do? Say something. At court the judge will protect your rights, the court reporter will protect your words, and the bailiff will protect your safety. Everyone has a role. In mediation my role is to protect your right to be heard, to protect your words and to keep you safe. I do these things by listening to your side of the story, by keeping our conversation confidential and by providing separate meeting rooms. Some form of social distancing has always been a part of mediation. Whether you feel threatened by the pandemic or the opposing party, control your role and stay safe, always.
