Ok guys we are about to pull the trigger on our first rehab project and we need your help! As you all know..inflation is on the rise! What does that mean for money that is just stashed away in your piggy bank, under your mattress or in your underwear drawer??

Well the money will physically stay there as long as you keep it there, but the longer you keep it there the less valuable it will become. Eventually the value would drop to the point where it wouldn’t be worth the paper it’s printed on.

Obviously we are smarter than that though because we keep our money in a bank account, all safe and secure and FDIC insured, gaining interest so eventually it could grow to be a fortune right? Well banks can’t keep your money from losing value over time. Why? Because interest rates in savings accounts aren’t high enough to account for the inflation that is happening daily.
