❄️❄️ Dallaska is on it's way! ❄️❄️
7 tips to stay safe on the roads as the winter weather moves in 🚗
1️⃣ Reduce Speed: Decreasing speed gives you more time to react to any unexpected situations.
2️⃣ Increase Following Distance: Maintain a greater distance between your vehicle and the one in front of you.
3️⃣Use Gentle Movements & Brake Carefully: Avoid sudden braking, acceleration, or sharp turns.
4️⃣ Stay Informed: Check weather and road condition reports before your trip. If possible, delay travel plans when conditions are extremely icy.
5️⃣Stay Alert: Keep an eye out for icy patches, especially on bridges, overpasses, and shaded areas where ice tends to form more quickly.
6️⃣Know How to Handle Skids: If your vehicle starts to skid, steer gently in the direction you want the front wheels to go. Avoid sudden movements and gently ease off the accelerator.
7️⃣Stay Home if Possible: If conditions are severe, it might be safest to avoid driving altogether until the roads improve.
