Update on new hotel coming to Roanoke !🎉
Construction is beginning on Roanoke’s future hotel and convention center!
Starting Monday, August 24, residents and visitors will begin to see visible construction activity at 600 South Oak Street as Brasfield & Gorrie mobilizes on-site, installs construction fencing, removes existing sidewalks, and begins initial site work.
The full-service boutique hotel will feature 205 guest rooms. It will be paired with a City-owned convention center, creating new opportunities for meetings, conferences, celebrations, and special events while bringing more visitors to Downtown Roanoke and supporting our local businesses.
And there’s more to come!
The City’s official groundbreaking ceremony is planned for late September, when we also anticipate announcing the hotel’s brand and official name. Additional details will be shared soon.
