Finally back in .

I was in for a couple weeks. A tiny town, surrounded by miles of flat nothingness. Attached is a photo of Downtown Wichita - its desolate and depressing.

I've lived in 6 States -

is unlike any of them. The people are so strange. EVERYONE is FROM

It blows their mind when you tell them you're from - They just seem confused at the idea of meeting someone from somewhere else. They show no interest.

When you ask them just common questions, what do you do for fun? What are your hobbies?

They seem irritated.

People in all seem so sad. You never see people laughing. No one has a personality.

No one has any hobbies.
No Passion for anything.
They don't take care of themselves.
Don't care what they look like.

It's like they've all just given up.

I went to their single, tiny mall Towne East Square - everyone was dressed for yard work. A Tshirt and jeans. Not MOST people - EVERYONE.

There's only one upscare store, called Von Maur

If you live in an ugly State, where nothing is new, nothing is inventive, everyone is the same... where the largest "city" is barely a town - with nothing to do - everywhere you go is familiar - its not POSSIBLE to step outside your comfort zone, theres nothing to get excited ABOUT... that's how you end up I guess.
