I’ve seen it all.
As someone who has been at both ends of the job interview and someone who has both been an employee and an employer, I have seen extremely effective salary negotiations and some that I knew were not going to lead to the desired outcome. Know your worth and sell your worth! Your needs don’t necessarily carry as much weight at the negotiation table. I hope this short clip helps you at your next salary negotiation!

As we enjoyed our final week in office with Antonio, we asked a few questions about his experience working at a personal injury law firm. Antonio was surprised how much medical knowledge the legal team is required to have to properly advocate for clients.
Speaking from experience, one of the best attorneys I learned from was a defense attorney - meaning he worked FOR insurance companies and against injured people - and his breadth of medical knowledge and the way he yielded that knowledge to win in court inspired me to buckle down and learn more. To this day, I continue to learn more about anatomy, mechanisms of injury, prognosis for common injuries, and that deeper medical understanding has been invaluable in properly evaluating, litigating, and settling cases.

For many minority parents, teaching their children how to interact with police isn’t just a conversation. It’s a conversation they believe could one day save their child’s life.
In this clip, we discuss the difficult reality of preparing children for encounters with law enforcement, the conversations some families feel they must have at an early age, and why understanding these experiences matters even if they’re different from your own.
It’s not always an easy topic, but honest conversations can create greater awareness, understanding, and empathy.

When a child is injured, a settlement isn’t just about what happens today. It’s about protecting their future.
Minor injury settlements can involve special rules designed to make sure the money intended for your child is properly protected and used in their best interest.
As a parent, you shouldn’t have to navigate that process alone. Understanding how these settlements work can help you make informed decisions for your child today and for the years ahead.
If your child has been injured because of someone else’s negligence, Rocio at Law is here to help you understand your options and protect what matters most.

I’m honored to share that I’ve been named a Super Lawyer for 2026. This esteemed recognition is given to the top 5% of attorneys in Texas following a detailed selection process. The process includes peer nominations and independent research, with evaluations based on 12 key indicators of legal excellence. These indicators include professional honors, successful case outcomes, and positive client reviews, which collectively reflect an attorney’s expertise and reputation. I appreciate the support from my peers and clients and look forward to continuing to advocate for my clients with the same dedication.
